HHS issued a new rule that would ban federal funding for medically necessary care for trans youth under 18 for Medicaid and under 19 for CHIP. This does not ban currently available care, and states that permit care would still be allowed to use available state Medicaid and CHIP funds.

It’s not medically necessar. WPATH isn’t even standing behind it, while sued. They called it an opinion.
