I read 4-5 posts from people who specifically deal with blood clots in the aftermath. Apparently the only risk of a Bosh-like situation is if he has a genetic predisposition to forming clots; that's when you get the lifelong blood thinners. So it could happen, but it's not very likely.

I really hope you're right. There was something about how they worded the press release that scared the crap out of me. It was something like "when he's off blood thinners then he can play." It's pretty innocuous, but my brain immediately went to, so there's a chance he doesn't come off them
