Anyone thinking Burnham might be alright… he’s immediately coming after disabled people like Starmer tried and failed to do. Anyone thinking he might focus on wealth tax is deluding themselves. It’s just more of the same old austerity and let them eat cake just with a different accent.

My agenda is have a prime minister who doesn’t want to throw all poor and disabled people into a woodchipper to keep the historically ultra-wealthy from ever having to pay an extra quid and I’ll never pretend otherwise.

As a wheelchair user with a wife working with debt relief I am aware of the need for a good welfare system. There are however a fair number that abuse the system and help not cash, would be more appropriate. I was just saying after 1 week I would see what he comes up with.
