5.4 early test is scheduled this summer, 5.3 will enter stable version this month

they don't, although it's nothing groundbreaking there's already plenty of 2D packing library out there (libnest2d comes to mind)

Feels like 5.4 is a QoL update rather than exciting new features. But tbh, enhanced atlas is much needed upgrade. I personally am fine with it. Instead of being pressured to introduce new feature every year, they chose to enhance what we already have.

I would say Parameter Controller is their major offering, it offers more efficient ways to control multiple parameters without having to hack physics setup

Yeah, but that’s what I mean. We already have Parameter Controller but it used to be only animation and now added to physics and added SDK support. Enhancing what we already have by utilising it other area. It’s not a new shiny feature and I love that.
