"This isn't a battle of your choosing. But it is the battle for which you will always be judged. This is the moment you must show the world and history which side of the Edmund Pettis Bridge you are standing on." - Stuart Stevens

*Coalition building* 💙🌱 everyone has to stop telling others that, someone else needs to step up and just keep speaking up. More locally as much as possible, even if it's on social media, the local connections have more direct impact in just having the ability in others to confide these issues with.

Building trust that others can talk to you about these things whether they might have slightly different views on these issues than you because we all have a common threat it's just hard to sometimes bridge that for people

Telling others to "do something" like I'd already mentioned isn't going to make the change your expecting of others. And as I mentioned in this image as a reply to Jon Stewart's post I've been having these interactions with my coworkers and other peers in the local coalitions. What I'm speaking on.

I was baptized on my godmother's birthday at her Lutheran church. I gave up faith for science by my teens. Researching stem cells online to understand cancer treatments better. My first best friend and neighbor, Erica.. battled cancer 3 times before she passed at 14yrs old.

Jefferson wouldn’t have backed Project 2025. He wouldn’t ban books, police prayer, or codify belief. He knew state-sponsored faith isn’t protection—it’s control. That was liberty. What we’re seeing now? Theocracy in drag, wielding law like scripture. Belief is personal. Coercion is policy.

Maybe punching Nazis will give me purpose in the eyes of others.

Reporters blacklisted. Students detained without warrants. Migrants deported without hearings—while supporters cheer. In another era, we marked fascists so they couldn't hide. Your ignorance won’t protect you. First they come for us. Then for you.
