I've read a few books by Ann Patchett now, starting with The Dutch House, read by Tom Hanks. But the poetry in Whistler is incredible, especially when juxtaposed by an autobiography of Wilfred Owen, which I read before sleep. Knowing the end, Death, before you start, has been the theme of my life
