Thank you for speaking on this. I think the men we as a society have previously looked toward as examples have all failed us, ie Priests,pastors, coaches,doctors and educators. We need men to step up and create the new example of what a man is to give boys something to emulate.

The very first on the list should be Protector. Women are the nurturers of the planet and all living things therein. Men are the protectors of the women who are to do this work. Once man recognizes his assignment we will all thrive.

Aren't men and women basically similar?? Protection, providing,.. I do not see women not doing that, and not just sometimes..

Women have been more “man” than men have.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I've been a protector and provider my whole adult life, and that is at the core of my identity as a woman. I'm the woman who stood up to a man who was bigger than me on more than one occasion stop an assault on another person.

Should we trying to find ways to define what it means to be a person and less about masculine and feminine, maybe with the exception of giving birth? I we see people living their lives on a spectrum instead of hard definitions do we allow people to live better lives?
