I’m in Europe and I: deleted facebook and Instagram; cancelled chat GPT, YouTube, Audible, Uber (Bolt is Estonian and is as good as uber).I didn’t have Amazon so that was easy. Trying to delete WhatsApp but I have some important group chats there 😔 More unsubscribed to follow!!! 🙂

Now if only people put their principles ahead of their convenience. I’m betting they won’t.

i finally canceled Amazon Prime after an episode of Pivot last week. I know several people that have done the same in recent months

I stopped opening any link that has trump or Elon. And I never open a link that sends me to X, (I call it zit) no matter what. I say we erase trump and Elon and zit by not clicking the bait.

Thank you, Scott, for showing us how we can make a big difference by taking targeted action together. For my part, I canceled: Apple TV Apple News Hulu Amazon Prime & Paramount+. Also shifting from Uber to Lyft. Feels much better than I expected. 💪 🙏

I don't think these companies realise this could hit them harder than they realise. A lot of us are in the habit of ordering off Amazon / taking an Uber. Once you break that habit we might not go back.

I've just cancelled the few I have and I'm also not buying anything from the big tech companies this month.

I’m in the UK and work in tech consulting. More and more we’re having conversations about how we are over exposed to US tech. Much like Europe let itself get addicted to Russian oil, we’re realising what’s happened. It won’t be sudden, but I think we’ll move away.

You're 1000% right on this, and I never say stupid things like "1000% right". I think we're getting to the bottom of the barrel on collective action options, and next to a general strike, this is it.

Cancelled Amazon. Need to work a way round alternatives to the others I’d love to cut out.

I hope Trump feels it. Just unsubscribed from Amazon and Audible. WP was the last straw. Once these wealthy oligarchs realized they could do things "the Trump way" without consideration for people, the law, values, morals, etc, they joined just went for maximum wealth. #resistandunsubscribe
