I’m just going to pretend the opening festivities of the Obama Presidential Library is the celebration of our country’s 250th.

This weekend, the Kenyon community honors the incomparable Tom Stamp—historian, storyteller, and keeper of Kenyon’s soul. I was lucky to call him a friend, and I’ve written a remembrance of the wit, rigor, and quiet grace that defined him and the place he loved.

And in today's edition of corporations not being able to read the room, we have Peloton raising their monthly fees by $5.99. #peloton

”Their goal is to instill fear, to make you feel helpless, hopeless, to break you down. Don’t let them. Educate yourself. Organize. Speak truth to authority. Because the story’s not written — the pen is in your hand.” — Emmy award-winning writer Dan Gilroy

Count me among the millions who value free speech. Disney+ and Hulu cancelled. #BoycottDisney

Bluesky seems to love animal photos, so here you go: baby bunny seen out a window this morning while visiting my parents for Mother’s Day weekend.

Just back from seeing the world premiere of a new play, Somerset Tavern by Daniel Mark Epstein. What a thrill to see new art being born.

In honor of the late Jill Sobule. Thank you for the music. music.apple.com/us/album/jet...

It seems like every time the USPS destroys one of my magazines, the lone cover that arrives contains an unintentionally hilarious cover title. (This really happened – twice now)

OK, let’s try this again…
