-But even in instances where there's something like an actual terrorist. Somebody who goes into a school or somewhere else like an office building to gun down innocents because of whatever is bothering them personally, that has NOTHING to do w/ the rest of them. They're hesitant and even forgiving.

Virtually every parent who lost a child in that school supported Republican and MAGA positions on gun ownership. I grieve the loss of those children who deserved so much better than their parents and government gave them.

If you're armed, the risk of getting shot at is literally part of the job description.

And it's an issue that's widespread across the US. It's not dumb to try and protect your officers from certain levels of danger. But if you have armored personnel like SWAT or SRT w/ bulletproof or at least resistant riot shields. They're armored cowards for not pressing forward to save lives.

Thank you for continuing to track this terrible issue, and not let it disappear. It's such a shame, though, that a couple of the non-responsive officers weren't strung up. Executing them would have helped ensure a prompt & firm response to the next TX school shooting.
