The AAP, like other groups of medical professionals, have stepped up to help Americans---thwarting the #TrumpRegime attempts to destroy all public health information and infrastructure.

Food-safety basics reflect decades of expert agreement. Protecting children and vulnerable people from raw-dairy risk requires continuity: government must preserve knowledge, update guidance with the evidence and communicate consistently so families can choose wisely. That is stability.

Ask the parents that are feeding their kids raw milk if they also give their kids a revolver loaded with one bullet and have them play Russian roulette.

Every person who wants to purchase raw milk should spend a couple hours helping the dairy farmer. Clean the milk barn, wash the cows teats pre-milking, clean the milking equipment, and the bulk tank. still confidant that there is no contamination, have at it. Pasteurization is a safe precaution.

Throughout Hx, there has been a natural law of "survival of the fittest" in the Universe. After a point, you can't keep trying to tie a rope around the waist of someone determined to careen off of a cliff, convinced salvation is at the bottom.

Fake science flows freely from the mouth of a heroin addict promoting unsafe health behaviors.. Great publication from Brown University... Too bad MAGA seems incapable of reading anything other than GOP propaganda. www.brownhealth.org/be-well/raw-...

I really wish MAHA would focus on high fructose corn syrup and highly processed foods in school lunches. Focus on the things that we know are unhealthy instead of the healthy things you think are unhealthy because you don’t understand them.

You have to admit, though that Darwin's Law is working overtime right now. Louis Pasteur must be rolling in his grave. "What did I tell you? Raw milk is very dangerous to drink! I made it safe!"

Nope, that is just not true. Cows milk is easily digestible for most people (not counting people with lactose intolerance or allergies). Many of the alternatives are all relatively new food products and have had much less study devoted to them. Plant protein in general is less digestible.

2 decades! I'm a food technologist with emphasis in food microbiology. I've over 35 years in the industry. Less than 20 years that regular stores even had oat, almond, pistachio or rice milk. The science doesn't have the depth of data on long term consumption compared to cows milk.

If you want really nice milk look for grass fed pasteurized but not homogenized milk that you shake to blend or let it settle with the cream on top to put in your coffee. Glass bottles.

So do an education program and leave the rest of us alone. Or spend your time and money on something that when used, harms the innocents around you. Go after tobacco if you care so much. Leave farmers alone you, adults have the right to choose.

Excuse but why not just tell certain people not to drink raw milk? Why do we all have to loose because some can't tolerate it? It is like the J&J vaccine. NO good for women of childbearing years, so fine. Don't give it to them. But it was the only one I wasn't allergic to. But I lost too.

They are called enzymes. Raw milk, 100% grass fed, organic was a major factor in my beating stage 4 melanoma before the docs figured out how. That and curcumin, which they since verified. But no one is forcing you to drink it, so why would you stop me? I thought we like freedom here?

Raw milk is great on your own farm where you can guarantee the hygiene. I grew up milking cows, I know. They get feces on their udders and milk sack, if you aren’t diligent in sanitizing, pathogens in the milk. This is where ramp up for mass distribution fails, and why pasteurization was invented.

As someone who has worked in a dairy barn I wholeheartedly a agree. So many places along the process where bacteria can grow. Briefly heating the milk as a precaution is smart. It doesn’t take anything away from the health properties of the product. Just makes it safer.

I'm in favor of pasteurization as policy. It just makes too much sense. However, I grew up on a dairy farm. The only milk I ever drank at home (and I drank a lot) was raw milk straight from our bulk tank. If people want to buy and sell raw milk in small personal circles that shouldn't be illegal.

Drinking raw milk is lunacy. Pasteurization was developed because children were dying from raw milk. The process dates back to 1860 and involves only heating the milk briefly. No dangerous chemicals are involved. How far back in time does RFK Jr want us to go? Are caves perhaps healthier still?

Selling something harmful has been a road to riches for too many (vis. the tobacco industry). Sometimes I wonder why these opportunists don't just openly sell Snake Oil.

Give them time. Check out the “biblical” cure for Alzheimer’s that’s all over YouTube, plus several ED treatments and a plea to start using silver again as an antibiotic, “according to ancient wisdom your doctor is hiding from you.” And if you have bowel trouble….

Drinking raw milk, like drinking “raw” water and refusing #vaccines, is just another display of childish contrarianism by intellectually insecure people who need to believe they’re intuitively “smarter” than those who put in the time and effort to actually understand the #science.

You don’t need AI to tell you that. You need a government that backs its doctors and scientists. Otherwise we’d all be injecting bleach.

The time I was at a daycare picnic and someone brought raw milk and didn’t even bother to clearly label it despite pregnant women and children attending… My bad for forgetting Montessori and anti-science idiots overlap.
