Roberts is as much a liar as Trump. His complaints are completely hollow as he runs the Court on a shadow docket, reaches down and picks cases that suit his and the other fives’ right wing agenda, sets up the appeal process to fast track cases from conservative circuits, etc. He deserves criticism.

He’s a klansman in a business suit. There’s no internal questioning going on.

People not realizing he was on the Bush team in Bush v Gore in 2000. Becoming the Chief Justice was his reward.

I can tolerate, and have, a conservative Supreme Court. I cannot tolerate a Supreme Court so corrupt, contemptuous of citizens’ constitutional rights, and downright destructive that they made tRump a king. No, I don’t go for that, no can do. Now I will defend my country against traitor justices.
