Lula: "We had to overcome foreign interference through digital platforms, which we will have to regulate. A crime in the digital world must be treated the same as a crime in the real world. We cannot have monstrous companies earning millions... not paying taxes... wanting to steer elections."

“He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened up a Cheesecake Factory” — Obama

The funny thing about these Blakeman “the only thing Hochul talks about is Trump, Trump, Trump” ads is that I’ve never heard her say his name once. It’s what pisses me off about her. (And other mainstream Dems.) Does that bit actually resonate with people???

As fun as it is to laugh about Katie Zacharia, … I get why the White House wants the role filled. I don’t get why the press covers it? One bottle blonde stands up there and lies. And lies easy. And lies to their face. It’s clear the WH don’t respect you. So why indulge them?

Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Tesla paid just 4.9% of their profits in federal corporate taxes in 2025. They've seen their collective tax bill drop by $95B thanks to two rounds of Trump tax cuts. Meanwhile, tech layoffs in 2026 have already surpassed 2025. Trickle-down economics was always a scam.

Ossoff: "You know I voted for the bill. You're not just lying about my record, you're lying about a young woman's death bc your campaign is in collapse. And you're campaign is in collapse bc the whole state knows that you're currently under federal investigation for illegal misuse of tax dollars."

I’ve noticed MAGA overwhelmingly support the Cornell 7. I’ve also noticed them overwhelming assume that the accused rapists are MAGA. The fact that you hear about rape and automatically assume it’s one of your own speaks volumes.

IMO, the failure of Dem leadership has been to assume good faith toward the GOP. aka … Exactly what we are all doing when it comes to upcoming voting.

Here is some great Democratic messaging created by a group of activists that designed signs in red with simple and yet devastating anti-Republican messaging. You can order the signs on-line.

Might be nice if a single Dem used “gutting the military” as a strike point. Anyone?

Zack Whittaker@zackwhittaker.com

The Pentagon is notifying millions of current and former U.S. military servicemembers and staff that hackers stole their *unencrypted* personal information during a months-long data breach. The agency that had the breach also handles ID and login/credential access to U.S. military systems and bases.

We’ve all seen the clip. We know that Republicans keep calling Smith for show. Why doesn’t a Dem Senator pursue Smith in court so that A) everything comes out in discovery and B) call these sycophant’s bluff?

TPM@talkingpointsmemo.com

TPM has found fairly definitive evidence proving Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) misread text messages when he attempted to corner former special counsel Jack Smith during a congressional hearing on Tuesday.

Ossoff: "What did they spend the most political capital trying to do over the last 18 months? Cover up the Epstein files. They worked harder to cover up the Epstein files than they ever did to lower grocery prices."

Dems need to think bigger. Here we are going to war against Santa and the Pilgrims and the Founding Fathers. We're fucking around with Hallmark sentiments when what the Republican Party has in its sights is any and every Election Day from here on out.

a journalist trolls Trump, who has spent the last year whining about the UN's escalators: "Be careful with the stairs!"

Back in the olden days when we had true leaders, the chatter around government was: “What can the government do for you?” Not “How should government punish you?”

Trump: "We spent more than $2 billion in FEMA funding. You're waiting for some additional funding. I'm gonna get that to you. Now if Michael loses, I'm not sending it." Crowd: *groans*

Had I known Russian gangsters bankrolling your wedding was an option, we probably would have splurged for the better caterer.

PRO PUBLICA: “Don JR’s wedding secretly bankrolled by Russian oligarch close to Putin” 🤔 So weird how this keeps happening 🤷🏼 www.propublica.org/article/dona...

I mean, I wish it were true. If only because he would be out of all our lives.

Trump in Ireland lies delusionally: "We had a rigged election. As you know, it was totally rigged. Because I won three times. I didn't win twice. I won three times."

Reason goddamn bajillion Gulliani was an excessively shitty mayor. And my guess is he didn’t wasn’t news like this to slow down his reputation rehabilitation among the mooks.

🧵My family stopped through NYC (less than 3 miles from ground zero) 2 months after 9/11, & we wore N95s. Strangers were derisive, but it really seemed like common sense. Come to find out: Rep. Jerrold Nadler said he tried to convince Giuliani & Bloomberg "to release www.nytimes.com/2026/09/07/n...

Can someone explain to me how the Supreme Court struck down Trumps earlier tariffs but no one seems to bat an eye at the Canadian ones? Tl:dr how are the Canadian tariffs legal? Thanks.
