The problem is the right have successfully convinced 40-50% of America that education, healthcare, etc. spending is ethically and morally wrong. Their opposition isn't on cost grounds. They think it's morally wrong. I don't know how we convince them to change their views when it's that deep.

Another night of drone wars here in Erbil Kurdistan Iraq. Just remember that these drones are being fired from Iraq forces against Iraq. There is a phrase that's commonly used in conflicts such as this but no one wants to say it out loud..

This is disgusting. Didn't Rubio just go on about how Iran should use their money on their people rather then for war? Talk about irony! And here we are about to defund everything other than the military....so we can wage war with a country we have supposedly obliterated multiple times.

I am sure there will still be some set aside for tax breaks for the rich! Can't forget them. Meanwhile us serfs are left to flap in the wind. I wonder how long society will maintain it's composure when we're cogs in a machine that eats us up, so the rich can be comfy. Reminds me of Metropolis!
