There are literally tens of millions of USAians who grew up being taught in evangelical Sunday Schools that they would see the end of the world in their lifetimes. Many of those are now in positions of power in government, media, and military, and they’re getting impatient.

The United States of America has the power to unilaterally end most complex life on earth, and has had that power for sixty years.
