A couple years ago i got frustrated with 1password, they have some sketchy business practices and weird relationship to open source / self hosting. So i tried bitwarden... well it's just not so good, switching back to 1password, it's gotten better. Frustrating when the tech is so good it overrides

Ultimately, it comes down to what the user is looking for. However, we cannot continue to tolerate the abusive practices (shady business practices) of large corporations that say, "We'll let you use our services for free, but we'll collect your data."

what was your experiance with bitwarden? i ask because i host a vault warden instance and use all the app, and maybe I'm tolerating some experience i shouldn't?
