Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

When they say "purity test" they mean "oh my god stop being mean to me because I said a thing it was no big deal why can't you just give up stuff for the greater good" and then lose their entire shit when you talk about raising taxes.

Nobody ever flips it. Ok, why don't you suck it up and accept trans women in sport, which you insist is the only trans issue? Why don't you renounce your purity test and let trans girls and women participate?
