Any views on the campaign that she ran, as I only saw like probably five ads over the past few months. Didn’t hear of any town halls. Hell, my phone didn’t get blown up for a single donation.

I disagree with the assessment that 'the Hispanic vote did her in'. I think Democratic voters were voting strategically. They may have figured Talarico had a better shot of beating a Republican. So the strategy was less about Crockett and more about Texas voters.

It was a gamble she lost. The white-hot GOP’s hatred of her led to a substantial spite work effort to deny her original seat and to screw her out of votes in her strongest county.

She is a gracious queen, proving her interests lie in helping Texans and turning our state Blue, once again.

Bold women ! Now its time to go to work and manage who you elected closely.

The momentum for Talarico has been going since he famously schooled Republican evangelicals in the Texas lege on their Ten Commandments bill. It was wild after Brendan Carr of the FCC banned his Colbert interview. Crockett is awesome, I LOVE her, but she just never caught up.

It's too bad they both can't be up on Capitol Hill. That would be a 1,2 knock-out punch on Republicans. Hopefully Talarico doesn't get cheated later this year. I thought Florida had the dirtiest Republicans. From what I've seen over here, Texas may have that honor.

I really liked both of them and I'm glad she has rallied behind him. Rep Crockett has a strong voice and I hope she can continue to reach out to folks often left out of Texas politics.

Both candidates deserved to win but only one could. Jasmine is pure class. There are no losers here both are winners. All the best to both in the future. I'm sure we will be hearing from both for many years to come.

I love Crockett, but I see this as her not giving Republicans what they wanted with their polling place stunt. They wanted to weaken the Dem coalition. Crockett said (with class and grace) fuck that! Her concession was meant to unify Dems and thwart Republicans. 💪👏 It was a strategic move. 👍

The Senate race in Texas proved (for me) that many people have not learned from 2024. Come what may…America has a very hard reckoning coming. At this point, I believe it’s time this nation faced itself.

She was a great candidate. Much better than either of the GOP candidates in the Texas primary - admittedly that is an extremely low bar.

Not a TX voter, however, I will certainly miss her straight forward comments and artful questioning during committee meetings. Strong, diplomatic, fiery, and thoughtful.

In one short post, she showed how deserving she was for the position. I look forward to seeing her help lead the party however she sees fit in the future. All that being said...TURN TX BLUE!!! LET'S GO TALARICO!!! Numbers are encouraging if the Crockett voters take heed to her message.

I wish they had all coordinated better behind the scenes. We need her legal expertise in the House. I hope she can run for Congress again, or spend time going around Texas and talking to voters to gear up for another senate run against Cruz.

It’s a huge factor in Texas but it’s not unique to Texas.

Well it is obvious here in Texas that the Texas Supreme Court is the decider of if or if not this Texas voter can exercise that…which used to be a right. They control my vote. Judicial disenfranchisement of what was once a very simple half hour checking a box. Until Republicans rigged it all.
