lol this is definitely JD Vance bragging about himself: “It’s siding with the rapist protector mom,” a Donald Trump adviser says about the ad. “This was never a good idea,” adds the adviser, who says they knew about the ad before it was first published online by the “Rooster” Ohio blogger.

Wild that when one candidate leverages the other candidate’s SA history the New York Times calls it “the ugliest race” as if both candidates are equally to blame. Just another smooth brain both sides take from the nyt. It’s not the ugliest race, it’s one candidate acting horrifically.

"These Ohio Republicans obviously don’t want to lose. But several of them say that one silver lining of Acton winning is that it likely means they’ll never have to deal with Ramaswamy ever again, whom a decent number of them describe as simply “annoying.” lol. Nice finisher.

“Zeteo can now reveal more on how the ad came together, and who else was involved. Somehow, the depraved, sleazy story of how this happened – a new low in a race that [NYT] has declared likely the “ugliest” in the nation – is even worse than you already think it is.” zeteo.com/p/republican...

Weird propaganda ad during the World Series calling liberals the *new* racists. If true, aren’t the republicans implying that they’re the OG racists? Like “Yep, we’ve been the racists for the past 400 years. NOW it’s the liberals!”

I can't really believe it but it seems to be the case that the Times has not covered a credible accusation of rape against the President of the United States, but has two solid stories on Obama's cheesecake factory quip.

Corrupt cowardly pendejo Marco Rubio helped dictator-wannabe criminal Flavio Bolsonaro and his family flee from Brazil to the US after losing the election and says he will issue them visas. The MAGA regime won’t grant asylum to people fleeing war zones, but they’ll protect a terrorist. Got it.

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…

Love ya, Kamala Harris, but hard disagree. Impeach in the House. Don’t care if the Senate doesn’t convict. If I swore an oath to uphold the Constitution, I’d feel duty-bound to impeach in the House. To at least try. And to be as much of a thorn in the side to this administration as I could be.

US military bases? Seems to be de rigueur. If avg daily WW cable viewers ~3m, then the military base viewership could boost the 25-35 age group. Otherwise its all my fellow boomers 🤮

As expected, the defense spent much of its cross-examination on the “materiality” prong of the false statements charge. Under 18 U.S.C. § 1001, a false statement is a crime only if it is also material, meaning it has a tendency influence the decision of the body it was made to.

This whole idea that impeachment means *not* doing whatever else that might also be useful simply isn't true. You can do those things, too, and in terms of hearings/investigations those all work better, on their own terms for what they're supposed to accomplish, with impeachment than without it.

Kamala, who I voted for, might be right about not having the 2/3 majority in the Senate to get the necessary voted for impeachment. Nevertheless, I think we need to try if for no other reason than to find our who still supports Trump.

Frank D’Elia reposted

Weak. Wrong. Investigate. If the crimes are serious enough there are two possibilities: you'll get the votes or you will be able to use the defense of Trump's corruption in every campaign against those who are defending him. This misunderstands the centrality of corruption as an issue today.
