I did not understand how Flippo got a hold of a Valor device without being awarded one. I go online to inquire. Well, you can buy all military ribbons, medals, V devices etc. from multiple vendors. I did not know you could buy this stuff. The vendors are selling fake ones but who would know? WTF?

Unfortunately SCOTUS ruled in 2005 Stolen Valor Act was unconstitutional, finding that a blanket criminal ban on lying about military honors violated the First Amendment. But was later narrowed down to if you try to make financial gain from calling it. As a veteran this still pisses me off.
