It's funny, for me there's even tok much content already 😅 I've been boycotting Twitter since it became X (I don't even open links) and can't be happier with Bluesky for now. All the techies that I follow are here (e.g. @simonwillison.net , you) even though I don't use microblogs as content feeds.

I use mostly RSS/Atom feeds for that which work way better, I find engaging with people to be the only use of microblogging. From my perspective the fact it's not crowded is potentially a plus, less rage baits, more signal. All in all, a pretty pleasant experience so far.

A but of a tease but... how can you tell that views count on X are to be trusted? If I had to bet I'd say the vast majority of traffic there is bot generated. Quality beats quantity.
