Even as @wsocial.eu onboards more and more users, they can’t seem to get them to talk to each other 🤐 This atrocious engagement rate (~9%) for users on the W PDS has been steady as a rock since day 1 (here you can see it in the daily totals and percentages). #WhosThereSocial

Even if we look at new @wsocial.eu users it’s only occasionally not an absolute disaster.

At the start of July, 91% of users had never posted. Seven weeks and roughly four times the user count later, still 91%. Same ratio, just far more people caught inside it now.

The #Atmosphere 🌀 doesn’t care where you land. Identity, follows and posts move freely across PDSes. W had a real shot at handing the open Atmosphere thousands of new, engaged voices. Right now it’s handing it thousands of dormant accounts instead, and growing!

Not malice, just incompetence. An open door to an empty room. A beautifully onboarded, mostly silent town. Every non-posting account here is someone who might have found their people elsewhere in the Atmosphere and now probably won’t get the chance to look.

1000s of early adopters who came this close 🤏 to the wider network and got stuck at the gate. Worth fixing before they just leave. Except they can’t because W won’t let them leave even if they wanted to. #WhataWasteSocial
