This is IMHO the most exciting thing happening in the Atmosphere today and I can’t wait to see it implemented.

@thisismissem.social @divy.zone and I recently went through an exploration of how the browser can help you login to websites with atproto accounts. We recently presented to the FedID CG and here is a sneak peek in case you couldn't join! This is early but we'd love your input before we go too far!

The reason it is potentially *the* most exciting and impactful project is this work by @divy.zone @sgo.to and @thisismissem.social can touch literally *every* project and make the job of acquiring and retaining users a breeze.

"Oh I already have an account that works for this?!" will be so powerful to people who really do not want to sign up for yet another fucking thing.

Agreed, I think if the message can get out about how this lowers the cost of entry to try out new things, that will be amazing.

When I wrote about this months ago, I was referencing their work without even realising it. wecanjustdothings.leaflet.pub/3mlv5oijn5s2qq #FedCM for the #Atmosphere 🌀 can't happen soon enough.
