Sony, misunderstanding the difference between a fun double feature and a herculean fandom bloodletting. Who would want to marathon four biopics made specifically to sell a four ticket bundle? Was the “vision” replicate Barbenheimer? It definitely wasn’t to make a good biopic on The Beatles.

Sony is considering releasing all 4 ‘BEATLES’ biopics on the same day in April 2028. Another idea being considered is offering a 4-pack of tickets to encourage fans to buy tickets to all 4 films at once. (Source: www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...)

Sony: no, you see, it’s like Lord of the Rings, but instead of funding three art pieces that have a strong vision we are asking customers to buy four tickets to four movies the day they release. Yes, we published Morbius, why do you bring that up?

I get what you're saying, but considering the demographic for these films is "dads who took their kids to Lord of the Rings", this might actually go terribly right.

(also, this is a self-callout because I'm not immune to propaganda and if you think my dad and I aren't gonna end up in the cinema for 8+ arse-numbing hours of this...)

The Beatles Parents Ground Zero. Taking their kids to Beatles land. Showing them the famous John Lennon stairs. Pretending they are the cartoon characters from Yellow Submarine… I could see it happening, sadly.

From what I've seen that's not far off from how tourists already treat Liverpool and the north in general? At least a theme park would make them be honest about it.

Oh no yeah I am also a Beatles Enjoyer, I just sometimes performatively lean on having Northern English roots to feel a cultural identity outside of "white girl from Toronto"
