who should be the mayor of LA is not an academic question. it is a real one that will determine the lives of people who will live under the power of that mayor. There are Angelenos who's lives will be literally thrown in a garbage can and burned if karen bass wins.

this is something I tried telling my mother when she was talking about the DSA, the local candiates are not the same thing as the national party.
