The recent revival of interest in retro gaming, particularly hardware-emulated stuff like the Analogue consoles is so cool to see Really makes me regret selling off my entire collection in 2011 to fund [checks notes] an iPad 2, about six months before it was made obsolete by the retina iPad 🤦

That was the 30-pin Retina iPad that they basically disavowed? I had that one.

Yeh, it was laggy as hell from what I remember but the resolution upgrade instantly killed support for so many apps on my iPad 2. If only I had understood the apple product cycle back then, I might have made better decisions

I fear I can never make penance for letting my Dreamcast go

No way! aha I was just typing a reply and saw the second message. "Forever kicking myself I sold my Dreamcast and games at a loss to some sleazy guy at a car boot sale 😅" Vigilante 8, Crazy Taxi, even the game I got free with the console, Chu Chu Rocket 😢I hope to get it again, one day.

The Dreamcast is one of those consoles that, with hindsight, just had some incredibly fun games. Really was the last gasp of 'arcade at home'
