the loudest sound I ever heard was the noise of a trash compactor crushing a metal shopping cart. The cart was missing a wheel and the stoner Deli guy said we should throw it in the trash chute. The sound of snapping metal reverberated through the entire store and i thought it was going to explode

Everyone in the store heard it. Even woke up the manager sleeping in his office but be didnt care. I worry that my actions directly led to the downfall of the great Atlantic and pacific tea company. I have mostly followed industrial equipment safety protocols ever since.
