Took the survey. I've spent the last few years reading the official translation to get up on One Piece and I would really, really prefer it to remain AI free now that I'm caught up. 🫠

I think I'd agree with you. The amount of effort that Stephan puts into making that translation as close to Oda's Japanese writing style. It would be an insult to every level of this process.

AI needs to stay out of the book industry, including the manga industry, period.

I’ve been using scans for a while since I’m an impatient person for new chapters of Sakamoto days lol. however I do read the officials when they come out so I can get a better context of what’s going on in the chapters with the words added.

I'd like to believe Viz Media cares about the human element enough to NOT do that, but I will absolutely take this survey, just in case.
