Damn. 😪

As a genx Canadian I have to say that this one hurts. John candy hurts. The world is a smaller, sadder, less funny place with her gone. We’ll miss her and the laughter she brought to generations.

True, I’ll never forget them. I was just referring to some of my favorites who have left us. Others include Harold Ramis, Robin Duke and Tony Rosato. Interestingly, I had just mentioned getting the full SCTV collection to my daughter just the other day.

I hope to heaven she knew how much we treasured her. She was a part of my life since her SCTV days and losing her is akin to losing Madeline Khan. Too soon.

The obits leaving out Catherine O'Hara's folksy magic at SCTV, and her suppressed Hollywood corporate maniac magic in The Studio are just shaming themselves. She brightened every screen her photons touchd.

An incredible talent! There will never be another like Catherine O’Hara.

I am sitting here in tears... Another beautiful talented beloved person gone WAY too soon. Rest easy, Ms. O'Hara - we will miss you. 😢

She was MUCH too young to be leaving us, just when we needed her most.
