That was a brave move by Macron, correcting Trump to his face. But Trump will now be holding a grudge because he was contradicted, and he'll find a way to exact revenge on France. By doing something dickish, like putting tariffs on cheese, or something.

That would be exactly on brand. "This Executive Order decrees that henceforth sliced, fried potatoes will be referred to as MAGA Taters. The failing French, who totally are loaning money to Ukraine, do not deserve it. I know french fries, I was the first to call them that...".
