i love mdzs so much, i still need to actually like read the books but cql has saved me in ways i cannot explain, the story means so much to me it led me to amazing friend, it helped me in so many ways!! as u said, it feels like coming home and its like a warm hug that u dont know u needed

i started reading when it was a fan translation epub i had downloaded on my laptop in college and i didnt get that far because it was a tough time in my life, but CQL and the fandom at the time kept me going. ill forever love the nie brothers and fatal journey. jgy is my jester!!! jin ling is my son

MDZS is just that bitch. between the theme of regrets and revenge, and how revenge is fruitless. it manages to not only set the stage in an engaging way by showing you wwx’s path to current day, but also set breadcrumbs for you to notice on a re-read

wwx is also just one of Those protagonists. he makes it so interesting to root for him bc he is such a victim of his narrative. He really is a good representation of how beaten down someone with good intentions and care for the world will be by politics and those in power. he's an inventor!!!
