what is some literary fiction or sci-fi you have loved recently? I especially love plotless fiction lately... but I'm just in one of those MOODS where I don't want to read anything on my hold list lol

Oh man, I've actually never read any Lem, it's time! Thank you! I have the same tendency—if you're ever looking for more short stories I loved these www.penguinrandomhouse.ca/books/602649...

You think you’re joking. A work-related phone call nearly 30 years ago: Jennifer: Hello? Me: Hi, this is Gregg at My Place of Business. Is Jennifer available? Jennifer: It’s pronounced “juh-NIGH-fah.”

Oh right, other recs! All recentish SF/F, I guess leaning fantasy but in genre-blurring ways: LAST EXIT, Max Gladstone THE WORKS OF VERMIN, Hiron Ennes THE SAINT OF BRIGHT DOORS, Vajra Chandrasekera THE ONLY HARMLESS GREAT THING, Brooke Bolander THE SUBTLE ART OF FOLDING SPACE, John Chu

(Also lemme know if you’re in the mood for more sword-and-sorcery type fantasy and/or horror, got a few of those really impacted my brain in recent years)
