Miles, an Indigenous actor best known for her roles in “Northern Exposure,” “Smoke Signals,” “Wyvern” and “The Last of Us,” handed them her tribal ID from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in Oregon. Yet, Miles recalled one agent calling it “fake.”

ICE agents had better learn that most natives carry tribal IDs & yes, they are legitimate. They also carry their state's drivers license. Indigenous means we were here first & deporting us means sending back to the lands your govt. so "generously" gave us to live on. So stuff it up your fake ass.

Doesn't matter what LEO pers say. Matters what LEO pers do. Getting bent over some LEO saying a doc is fake is to get bent about the wrong thing. If you're gonna get bent over something, at least pick something that's meaningful. (Stupid, waste of time, more trouble than it's worth post by OP.)

When in truth the Native Americans are the only ones legitimately living here. All others are allies invaders. We are their guests, and should act like it! It was the ID the ICE Gestapo had that was fake. She really shouldn't need any, but it certainly was more legit than his!

Bluesky! Change your AI spell-checker! It makes too many outrageous mistakes! I wrote 'All others are illegal alien invaders.' It said THAT when I hit reply. IT changed it while posting it. Other times, one often has to repeatedly tell it not to change what one typed, but it does over & over!
