For the #laravel crew on here, do you typically just use standard Laravel queues backed by the DB, or Horizon (Redis backed)?

It used to be strictly Redis, but lately I’ve been using mostly DB up to the point I want to introduce Horizon.

Yeah, that makes sense. With your DB-backed queues, do you ever wish you had some of the control that Horizon offers, like being able to pause and continue processors, or being able to clean failed jobs/clear jobs from the queue?

Yeah, that makes sense. What if there was a package/mobile app that you could integrate into your project that would offer both observability and queue controls from a mobile app (iOS and/or Android)? Would you still move to Horizon?

All good. I found it helpful when I was spinning up a pretty heavy queue (100k+ jobs/hr) and I wanted to check-in occasionally while playing with the kids
