The more I keep pulling the AI thread, the more I am building a web of micro-monoliths—services that are full products unto themselves, yet hook into each other, compounding into a flywheel.

Proactive people are the best. These branches were drooping a little lower than may be comfortable for some, so they used what was available to make it a bit nicer, for everyone.

How do you Claude Code? I feel like I am definitely in the minority, but there’s something about a consistent workflow, free from dependencies and access concerns. Thanks to @justinjackson.ca, @briancasel.com, and @jordangal.bsky.social (missed yah!) for having me on the @thepanel.bsky.social!

Anyone else drowning in markdown files and there’s just not enough time in the day to read them all? Same. I am working on a fix for that. If anyone is interested in trying it out, let me know. Hoping to get to this to a shareable state within the next week or so. No more blind approvals.

Anyone else ever get into a loop where no matter how many sessions you start, Claude Code just can’t complete a task it claims it is gong to do? I have been trying to get it to write and save a plan all day, across 3 sessions, and every time it gets to claiming to write it… Request timed out

The tension articulated here on @mattstauffer.com’s new show perfectly captures my internal conflict with AI. On one hand, the possibilities it creates feels infinite and magical. On the other, what are we losing, and who is being most negatively impacted by my/our embrace of it?

Intentional. My word for 2026, along with Interest, which I have been focused on for the past 2 years. Something about the way this year has started already has me excited about these two words, and trying to live up to them.

⌨️ Any iPad keyboard/mouse linkers out there? Since upgrading to 26.3, modifier keys are no longer being sent to the iPad. A Magic Keyboard directly connected to the iPad works fine, but remote keyboards are not sending Shift and other modifiers. Anyone else seeing this?

This is what I am talking about re:queue control. To be able to quickly pause/resume queue processors when errors pop up, or services go down, or things are running slow, is super handy, especially when on-the-go. Would love to know how other #laravel #bullmq #nestjs devs are handling things!

For the #laravel crew on here, do you typically just use standard Laravel queues backed by the DB, or Horizon (Redis backed)?

It looks like I am going to have to write the R2 overflow adapter for BullMQ sooner than I had planned, I just can’t justify scaling the Redis instance any higher than it already is.
