This is just an insane, ahistorical take. All restrictions were in place until the vaccine was rolled out and then republicans refused to get vaccinated and stopped taking any precautions. Then the deaths went up.

yeah, that's it. like half the people who died after 2020 were killed by conservative media, Biden tried to save them but the Republican Party stopped him

And then when the next wave hit, I saw the infections skyrocket but the deaths didn't follow like the previous waves. It was clear the vax did its job but for some reason people like Taylor refused to accept that.
