I haven’t posted anything controversial in a while, I think, so here goes: C is for crouch. It’s not Control. It should be C. You can easily hit C with your thumb, as well as jump, so you can crouch jump. Ctrl is way too far down for a pinky to hit in the heat of battle.

That left ctrl *hold to crouch* was a standard for a while will always make me mad for this exact reason. Crouch should be toggle by default and as a developer I should be allowed to set default binding to C for any game I work on

well look at Shortfingers McStubby-Digits over here, eh? Alright for some but I’d need an all-day return ticket to hit C with this thumb, but the pinky is already right there

Turns out the controlling people were just really chill this whole time

I'm just curious why you would contort your thumb over the space to hit C when this is clearly a job for the index finger to toggle (along with uses of E, R, and F)
