Very timely reference photos for me! The way the shadow side of the clouds in the binoculars are pale and somewhat bright above the strong orange horizon is something I had observed in my own cloud shading I’m working on, and felt looked fake, but there it is in real life too!

Nice! Likely some HDR problems too when trying to render in a non-realistic pipeline. Difficult to capture/reproduce all the different effects going on i suspect.
