🚨 We analyzed the Supreme Court’s decisions over the past 20 years and found that for the first time, the court issued more consequential rulings on its “shadow docket” (unsigned orders often decided without arguments) than the traditional merits docket. www.propublica.org/article/supr...

It's actually worse than it seems. With no argument on the merits, if the next administration tries to follow those decisions, having no record of the basis for them, the court can simply say, "these are different circumstances" and, on the merits, undermine a Dem POTUS. SCrOTUS 6 👇🏼

It’s a back alley group of goons whose mission it is to remake the nation. Somewhere along the way Americans lost their appreciation of how history will treat them.

Interesting. Whose blueprint is this? It tracks with other courts in oir system. Right below #scotus the DC curcuit court operates with an En Banc panel of 11 and a random panel of 3 for each case. (Although some say it appears it is not always quite random)

They're like the credit default swaps of the early 2000s. A black box with an unqueryable sum of money and unknown operators in the background. Yeah, we all know how 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 worked out. 😠

SCOTUS terms overlap administrations, but the bump before the current one is driven by COVID regulation/vaccine challenges that occurred during Biden's admin. The first hump is largely Trump 1, when the admin began using the emergency app process significantly more for immigration and travel ban.
