Today I am taking the train from McAdam to St Stephen for @chco-tv.bsky.social a rare opportunity for passengers to travel on the historic rail line.

All aboard!

And we're off. The train is limited to 10mph for some reason, so I'm in this for the long haul.

Brief window of cell service for an update. Bill Young, a train aficionado from St Stephen, is on ticket inspector duty. On a much larger train than the model ones he builds.

A sudden stop in Watt Junction, where we were accosted by train robbers! They made off with a box of Ganong chocolates before being apprehended by Sheriff Bob

We have arrived in St. Stephen, where the train engine is being switched to the other end for the return journey. I am a few hundred metres from my house, but my car is in McAdam. So there's another few hours of train riding to go.

Musical entertainment on the return journey provided by Rev. Catherine Stuart on the ukulele.

And we're back in McAdam. Most of the passengers are sticking around for a roast beef dinner, but I'm heading home. That was an interesting day at work!
