I'm not about to tell Texans NOT to vote against Ken Paxton, anymore than I'll tell my fellow Long Islanders not to vote against whatever small-business blackshirts the GOP are running against Gillen & Suozzi. But Talarico made a fucking monkey of himself, completely unforced. He failed as a man.

There's literaly no votes to be had. I don't have any idea what his thought process is, besides morally wrong he would actually pick UP votes (from both sides) by sticking firm. It's so fucking pathetic, but even beyond that it's STUPID. Feels like a consultant told him and he just nodded.

Yeah, this doesn't even have to be a "to be a man you have to be a protector" masculinity thing, though many men believe that and have that as a value for themselves. It really just comes down to men having the most power in basically every facet of society. Using that to oppress makes you a coward.
