Each time I point out that the Republican platform is simple (they want to sexually abuse children, and they want you to pay for it), a few people think I'm exaggerating, and usually some small number of people think I'm being sardonic or something. I mean it quite literally.

They consistently vote down bills that would protect children (e.g. clergy SA mandated reporting, child marriage, etc) and vote in favor of abusers
