I'm super happy to announce my latest project: the Builder Lambda plug-in! github.com/serras/build... This plug-in re-exposes builders from Java in a Kotlin-idiomatic way: as a lambda in which you set the different properties. The generated code has no trace, though, it calls the builder directly.

Writing compiler plug-ins for @kotlinlang.org is such a nice experience, and I hope we see more of them in the ecosystem.

Furthermore, you get IDE completion and diagnostics for free! For example, the plug-in ensures that properties are read-only, and that all required properties are set.
