Well, they've finally struck home. #ICE has detained my former #umich student, Yousif Azizi, a PhD student in public policy at Virginia Tech w/a valid visa. He was arrested while taking his children to school in Maryland. After multiple transfers, he is in a detention center in Arizona.

Outrage. This is Trump World: he doesn’t care—he’s oblivious. The main thing on his mind (after chopping off part of the White House) is his dreamed-of ballroom which will have Perfect Security beneath.

Yousof is a widely-quoted policy expert on US-Iran relations (his dissertation is on US foreign policy particularly related to Iran and nuclear power). It seems likely that this is one of the reasons he was picked up; in addition to his opposition of the current US-Iran war.

More and more, we are hearing that ICE/CBP steers clear of the real trash, the dangerous trash, the drug dealers and gang members, in favor of bullying women, children, and groundskeepers. Cowards seem to make the best bullies and thugs.

I oppose Trump's war w/ Iran. I support sanctions and ending Iran's push for nukes and ballistic missiles. Iran has blood on its hands from across the ME, Israel and Iran. I may not agree w/ all Yousof says but I damn well support his right to offer intelligent documented opinions. Trump is clueless

See? My point proven; there is no evidence that Azizi was a menace to society, only that Azizi was a student w/a valid visa, a father, and an outsider. Cowards, thugs, and bullies. Be all the asshole that you can be, join ICE/CBP.
