Simplygon is celebrating 20 years! Twenty years ago, we started Simplygon around the idea that game developers should be able to build bigger and more complex worlds without spending an ever-growing amount of time manually optimizing them.

A lot has changed since then. Game worlds have become larger, asset libraries have grown enormously, and the ways in which games are built and shipped have continued to evolve.

Along the way, Simplygon has grown too, from our early remeshing technology to automated LOD generation, HLOD and increasingly integrated optimization pipelines. Today, Simplygon has been used during the development of more than 1,000 titles, something we’re incredibly proud of.
