It's why I have that gut reaction unfortunately. 'Co-op mod' for something I never would have expected to have coop (like Arkham Knight) Oh and all those world of warcraft videos of characters hopping on a skateboard and doing tricks.

I was thinking about DM mod stuff just a day or two ago! Wasn't there like a source code or sdk release or something at some point semirecently? This thing looks super exciting, and I adore the emphasis on mod support.

With steam input you could already map it to a controller pretty easily (doesn't use many buttons and aiming isn't too important) but this will make it easier

It's a community effort that got approval from Ubisoft and support from Valve. It's free if you own the original game and it can be installed separately. They plan to release it this year and bring us the original campaign with some new features, more extra content wil be added.

It combines the best aspects of the PC version and console version, and almost every extra feature is optional. GOG version is unlikely since Ubisoft hasn't put the original game on that platform yet, but you can vote for it on GOG Dreamlist here: www.gog.com/dreamlist/ga...

without AI. the project began 6 years ago, initially as a coop mod with a lot of the reverse engineering efforts done before the proliferation of LLMs
