I know this piece is against my own, but I want to say this is fantastic in its moral clarity. While I wont be feeding Geller’s body to the woodchipper, I can respect why he belongs there. No matter how much we disagree, this piece’s distinction about the few actions we can’t redeem is excellent.

You are being harassed so much by so many disgusting people just because they insist on taking you in as bad faith as possible. To the point where they ignore everything you've written or said just to attack you for words they made up whole cloth. Sorry you're going through this.

I honestly think its disgusting people are going after people like that just because the opinion may or might (does not matter if true or not) suggest an idea that does not necessarily agree with a punitive stance, or other stuff these "judges" think is justice. So much for respecting rights.

I really disliked your article, Flora, it actually really pissed me off, but I am getting concerned for your well-being with how some folks, not the Will's article, but some of the folks on Bluesky responding to you are wording criticisms to you. Please take care of yourself in all this, okay?

I'm really hoping that our rage at Geller for hurting a woman doesn't become a bludgeon against women trying to struggle through the messed up reality of what to do with sex criminals, even women I think mean well but have conclusions I strongly disagree with. Starting with "rape is a crime" is...

A bit disappointed to have you support this kind of article for multiple reasons but I can say that you both have the right to debate what counts as justice to society and that you should not be called a "apologia" as long as you are not defending the action itself.

It's genuinely hard to read "We shouldn’t ruin the life of a promising young man", when so many people are arguing that him losing his youtube channel would be too harsh a punishment. It's a well-written article, and I wish it wasn't so needed. Thank you for writing this.
