The problem is, the DC people say yes, yes, yes to the City and then get in and do whatever they want.

I don't want my Xcel bill to keep increasing because of data centers; we've already had large rate hikes post pandemic. We can't keep paying more to prop up billionaires who don't pay taxes but still exploit our taxpayer-funded infrastructure to hoard inhumane amounts of wealth.

When a member of the local government signs a NDA or approves a Data Center over local objections, they should be voted out in the next election. That’s the only accountability that works.
