i lived thru the super nintendo years. the prices were worse, given the adjustments for inflation etc etc etc. and i don’t mind paying for quality. mario kart has been my franchise since 1992.

Not only that, but a lot of the new games coming on the Switch 2 won't be physical copies, only access keys.

I was paying $80 USD for new N64 games back in the 90s so $80 USD now isn't as bad. Was making like $4 an hour in 1996.
