I've just realized that Alien Day happens on the anniversary of the Chernobyl Disaster so my new mostly harmless conspiracy theory is that Xenomorphs in addition to cutting corners on safety regulations caused it.

Rereading some Captain America 2008 last night. The Red Skull's scheme was running multiple fake assassination attempts on a senator he was trying to prop up into the White House while using private security firms to crush protests of a financial crash he purposely caused. Can't help but to laugh.

It's weird to see folks getting excited for a new Spielberg flick. Not saying his 21st century catalog is awful but I don't know anyone who's gonna say Minority Report impacted them the same way as Jaws or argue Lincoln is as meaningful as Schindler's List.

With the passing of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, we have lost not just one of the greatest villains in all cinema, we lost one of the most skilled actors of an era. I would have killed to see him star as a grumpy detective in a mystery series. He could have done it. He could do anything. RIP

another case of people reading a headline and either not reading or misreading an article. the actual reporting does not say anything like "all trans people are being classified as terrorists" i understand why people are scared. i also feel like reading comprehension is at an all time low

Late Night shows suck. Even when they're hosted by talented folks they're largely toothless facsimiles used to promote brands and products and I'd be fine if they disappeared for that reason. Not because a reality TV Star who conned his way into the presidency to avoid jail had his ego hurt by them.
